A FEW TIDBITS ON SOME BILFS IN PHILADELPHIA...
I'm pleased to note that several BILFalicious Phillies will be returning for the next couple seasons. King BILF himself, Cole Hamels, just signed a 3-year deal, while pinch-hitter extraordinaire Greg Dobbs has signed a 2-year deal. Another BILF in a red and white uniform, Ryan Madson, turned down a 3-year deal. He and the Phillies' hottest outfielder, Jayson Werth, will be free agents after the 2009 season.
Hamels is happy he's staying in Philly. And I'm pretty sure Philly's damn happy to have Hamels! I can't wait to see what sort of magic he works on the mound this year...
On a side-note, there are so many BILFs on the Phillies that I might just start having to call them the BILFadelphia Phillies. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
